Jerk is a true Jamaican invention, but the old folks of Lynchburg thought it could use a little extra punch and decided their local Tennessee Whiskey was the answer. This is an excellent Jerk seasoning with a blend of sweet tropical spices and savory herbs coupled with a pleasing, peppery heat. Although it is primarily used on chicken, pork, fish and seafood, it is also good on vegetables and other meats.
